OVAMA questionnaire
The OVAMA questionnaire is a disease-specific patient-reported outcome measure for measuring vascular malformation appearance, symptoms and satisfaction. It comprises four scales: ‘general symptoms’, ‘head and neck symptoms’, ‘appearance’, and ‘satisfaction with treatment strategy and outcome’.
The OVAMA questionnaire is validated and translated into different languages. Contact us for the latest version in your language of choice (see below for available translations) and the scoring instructions.

We have a protocol for translation and cross-cultural validation, so that it is easy for local groups to correctly conduct such studies independently (which we are also planning to publish).
